Do you have trouble sleeping? You’re not alone. One in three Americans have trouble sleeping or have poor quality sleep. The team at NapLab tried to get to the bottom of some root causes by creating a Sleep Quality Index. They mapped the results by color coding each state based on their score. This map gives us a colorful view of the state of sleep across the U.S. The factors that team used to create their sleep index include rates of mental illness like depression, estimated amount of caffeine residents consume, stress levels, and number of people who get too little sleep.

  3. Utah
  4. Iowa
  5. Minnesota
  6. Idaho
  7. Maryland
  8. North Dakota
  9. Kansas
  10. Texas
